Overview

Baker Brothers Plumbing, Air, & Electric is currently seeking an EXPERIENCED HVAC Insulation Technician to join our team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day.ย  Our Insulation technicians serve our customers by educating them on the available product options, removing and replacing insulation as well as installing add-on accessories, when needed, while providing quality work. This role will also serve as a mentor and coach to both apprentice and entry-level technicians.

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

  • Assisting with other duties as needed.
  • Lead and supervise insulation crews on residential job sitesย 
  • Team Leadership: Direct and supervise a crew of 2-3 installers, ensuring everyone follows the scope of work and finishes on schedule.
  • Air Sealing & Weatherization: Identify and seal air leaks using foam or caulk
  • Install insulation materials (fiberglass loose fill, batt insulation etc.) according to specifications
  • Operate and drive company truck with large trailer safely and efficiently
  • Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials
  • Ensure all work meets company standards and local building codes
  • Train and mentor team members
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Reporting:ย Complete daily paperwork, inventory management, and reports on team performance
Qualifications

Do I have What it Takes?

  • Minimumย 3 years of insulation experience
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Experience driving aย truck with a large trailerย (required)
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, etc.)
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Physical Stamina:ย Ability to work in confined spaces for long periods of time.
  • Skills:ย Strong knowledge of insulation materials and air sealing techniques.
  • Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes.ย  ย ย  ย
