Job description

Job Description
1. Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
2. Assemble, mount and installs control panels, instruments, associated sensing devices that measure, indicate, transmit, record and control.
3. Plan layout and installation in accordance with manufacture instructions, specifications, issued design details and drawings.
4. Assemble and install instrument stands, brackets, trays, clamps and hangers as required to properly secure instrumentation and other associated components.
5. Measures, cuts, threads and installs small bore piping typically associated with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
6. Must have extensive tubing bending and installation experience.
7. Perform pressure testing of installed tubing and small bore pipe as required to prove integrity of system.
8. Able to read drawings; P&IDs, Details, Location, Schematics, Isometrics, etc.
9. Works in a timely manner, accurately and, maintains an orderly and clean work area.
10. Performs regular maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment and instrumentation (both installed and pre-installed).
11. Prepare and record QC installation documents, perform installation inspections with Engineers and Client as per Installation Testing Procedures (ITPs).
12. Physically able to work within a construction environment; including extensive walking, climbing, confined spaces, elevated work areas and lifting of tools and equipment up to 40lbs.
13. Typically has 48 months of industrial construction experience.
