The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is acceptingapplications for the full-time position of Criminal Justice: CorrectionalOfficer Instructor to be located at the Crump Campus

GENERAL DUTIES: 
The Criminal Justice: CorrectionalOfficer Instructor shall be directly responsible to the institutionadministration.  The instructor shalldevelop, plan, and prepare a complete progressive course of study, lessonplans, assignment and instructional aides, and keep these revised and up todate to meet the requirements of the profession.  Motivation, conduct, safety, discipline, andappearance of student during the time he/she is on the institution campus arealso duties of the Criminal Justice: Correctional Officer Instructor.  The instructor will also assist with studentplacement and student follow-up; participate in recruitment of students;evaluate student progress and maintain student records; participate inprofessional development activities; cooperate with outside agencies; work withprogram advisory committees; conduct visits to area employers; and establishand maintain good public relations within the college's service area.  Some travel is required.
