Powerback Physio Healer LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Home Care Physical Therapist to join our team in Punta Gorda, Florida. As an onsite Home Care Physical Therapist, you will work directly in patients' homes, allowing for a personalized therapeutic experience. This setting not only enhances the patient’s comfort but also fosters a deeper connection and understanding of their unique circumstances. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients based on referrals from healthcare providers, developing individualized treatment plans that align with the physician's directives.
• Implementing effective therapy interventions for various conditions, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related injuries.
• Providing skilled and purposeful therapeutic care, utilizing advanced techniques and modalities to enhance patient outcomes and functional abilities.
• Delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming environment that promotes trust and rapport with patients and their families.
• Consulting with, educating, and training patients and their caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic techniques to ensure continuity of care.
• Achieving minimum utilization goals, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the practice and enhancing patient satisfaction.

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and a wide array of medical conditions requiring rehabilitation. Your expertise will also extend to treating pediatric patients and individuals with neurological impairments. By customizing your approach to each client's unique needs, you will play a crucial role in facilitating their recovery and improving their quality of life.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proficient understanding of digital tools and documentation systems relevant to physical therapy.
• A compassionate demeanor with the ability to build lasting relationships with patients, empowering them to exceed their functional goals.
• A strong commitment to community engagement and the promotion of health and wellness.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in home health care or working with diverse populations, including special populations such as geriatrics or children, will be highly regarded. Experience utilizing evidence-based treatment methods will set you apart as a candidate.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a robust benefits package. This package includes:
