Join Our Team as a Fence Installer Helper!

Become part of the Viking Fence legacy, a Texas tradition since 1972, and contribute to our success in the fence building industry! We're on the lookout for a full-time Fence Installer Helper, that thrives in an outdoor hands-on environment. Opportunity to earn an hourly rate or piece rate, whichever is higher!

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Keep rental products in an ordered, logical manner.
  • Ensure loads are properly secured to prevent breakage or damage.
  • Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
  • Adhere to company rules and regulations.
  • Always make safety a priority.
  • Complete special projects as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • A typical day consists of approximately 50% travel and 50% installation and removal of rental products at designated locations.
  • 6 day per week shift required, with off hour availability for special events.
  • This position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, reaching, and bending while installing rental equipment.
  • Will be exposed to all types of weather on a regular basis.
  • Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weight (up to 75 lbs.) regularly
  • Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary.
