We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Sign Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with their hands, is comfortable working outdoors and at heights, takes pride in their workmanship, and can represent our company professionally at customer locations.

Sign installation experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with hands-on trade experience who are eager to learn the sign industry.

Position Overview

The Sign Installer will be responsible for safely and accurately installing, servicing, removing, and maintaining a variety of interior and exterior signage throughout the DFW area.

This is a hands-on position that requires physical work, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install a variety of interior and exterior signage according to work orders, measurements, drawings, and customer specifications.
• Install post-and-panel signs, monument signs, directional signage, banners, vinyl graphics, and other sign products.
• Properly measure, level, align, mount, and secure signage.
• Perform sign removals and replacement installations.
• Review installation instructions and drawings before beginning a project.
• Load, transport, unload, and safely handle signs, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, drills, levels, and other installation equipment.
• Perform basic site preparation, including drilling, anchoring, digging, and other installation-related tasks.
• Protect customer property and maintain a clean and professional work area.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
• Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and other team members.
• Complete installations accurately, safely, and within scheduled timeframes.
• Take photos and provide job completion information when required.
• Perform other installation-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver signage and installation materials.
• Ability to work from ladders and at elevated heights.
• Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather conditions.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow directions and work safely.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Preferred:

• Previous sign installation experience
• Commercial construction or installation experience
• Electrical experience
• Experience with vinyl graphics or application
• Experience reading installation drawings or blueprints

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position. The successful candidate must be able to:

• Lift and carry materials and signs weighing approximately 50 lbs. or more when required
• Climb and work from ladders and elevated equipment
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and work for extended periods
• Work outdoors in hot, cold, windy, and rainy conditions
• Safely handle tools and installation equipment
• Work in a variety of commercial, residential, and outdoor job-site environments
