Your main responsibilities
The most important criterion for this role is a strong operational background with a track record of being able to creatively solve customer issues. This individual must be motivated to both achieve outstanding results and succeed in a competitive environment.
The successful candidate will be a person of character who embodies Schindler's ideals of honesty and integrity, who maintains an optimistic attitude, is assured of success, and is not afraid to take calculated risks to enhance revenue growth. This role is customer focused, and the selected candidate must be able to connect with people to form outstanding customer relationships in order to advance Schindler Elevator's presence in the marketplace thus ensuring the achievement of the organization's financial goals.
• This role encompasses supporting a key customer of Schindler's across multiple territories.
• It requires close coordination with the local field offices as well as strong communication with the customer.
• Follow and accurately manage existing installation projects to ensure that projects close-out at the required efficiency and profitability levels.
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to provide the best possible parts, delivery timeline, and support for our shared customer.
• Think creatively about repair solutions to provide the greatest amount of uptime for the elevator equipment.
• Interface with the Field Superintendents to track job progress and notify the manager if required completion dates cannot be met; provide an action plan and time frame for completion
• Seek capital planning opportunities to present to our customer to ensure they are as prepared as necessary for future budgeting needs.
• Participate in Company professional development programs to enhance working knowledge of Elevator Company products, services, and procedures
• Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time.
What you bring
Bachelor's degree preferred or minimum of 3 years of technical experience in the elevator industry or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office & Excel and SA
This role can be seated in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Tulsa, Wichita, Kansas city or Austin.
