Job description

Style Crest is seeking a regional HVAC Service & Operations Manager to support and strengthen our service and installation operations across the Royal Durham Business Unit.

This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys improving how things run, supporting field teams, and delivering a strong customer experience. Youโ€™ll work across multiple locations, partnering with local teams and leadership to ensure our HVAC service business operates efficiently, safely, and consistently, while continuing to grow.

If you have a background in HVAC service and enjoy a mix of team leadership, operations, and problem-solving, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Your Focus

  • Full leadership of HVAC service and installation operations across Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas
  • Performance, productivity, and development of technicians, installers, and service coordinators
  • The customer experience end-to-end, from scheduling to installation to billing
  • Service department P&L, budgeting, and operational performance
  • Continuous improvement of processes, systems, and field execution

What Youโ€™ll Do

Drive Growth & Performance

  • Expand and strengthen the HVAC service business across the region
  • Partner with sales and leadership to increase revenue and customer retention
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and profitability

Lead a High-Performing Team

  • Build, coach, and develop a multi-location team of technicians and support staff
  • Set clear expectations and create accountability around performance and service quality
  • Foster a culture of safety, ownership, and continuous improvement

Own Operations End-to-End

  • Oversee scheduling, dispatch, workflow, and billing to ensure accuracy and responsiveness
  • Monitor service performance and proactively solve issues before they impact customers
  • Step in when needed. This is a leadership role that stays close to the business

Ensure Quality & Field Execution

  • Maintain high standards for HVAC installation and service work
  • Audit field work and subcontractor performance
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements

Run the Business

  • Manage service department financials, including budgeting and performance tracking
  • Analyze operational data to drive better decisions and outcomes
  • Optimize inventory, equipment, and resource allocation across locations

What Makes This Role Different

  • True ownership of a regional HVAC service business, not just oversight
  • Ability to build and shape operations across multiple markets
  • High visibility with senior leadership and direct impact on growth
  • A role that blends strategy and hands-on leadership

Requirements

  • 5 to7+ years of HVAC service and/or installation experience
  • Proven success leading teams in a field-based or service environment
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience required; strong leadership presence and ability to develop others
  • Ability to improve processes, drive performance, and lead through change
  • Strong operational and financial acumen (P&L experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and installation practices
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service focus, and ability to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
  • Ability to operate with urgency, take ownership, and make decisions that support both quality and customer satisfaction
  • EPA certification required. Master Mechanical license preferred
  • Willingness to obtain or maintain state HVAC/Electrical licenses (if applicable)
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and satisfactory MVR
  • Ability to travel regionally, at least one week of travel per month
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet customer demands

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
  • Vacation Time
  • Short Term & Long Term Disability
  • 401K with Company Match
  • Paid holidays
