Berry Tractor & Equipment - is a full service heavy equipment dealership. Our equipment includes: Komatsu®, and BOMAG, to name a few. Berry Tractor maintains a large rental fleet and provides repair and maintenance services on-site or in our well-equipped shop.
Berry Tractor & Equipment is lookingfor a Field Service Manager to oversee the Field Service Operations. This position will maintain an efficient, profitable, and organized department. $60,000- $70,000/year depending on expereince plus quarterly bonus
Responsibilities
  • Coordinates, monitors and improves field service activities for the branch.
  • Provides support and guidance to service personnel who perform on-site services including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Ensures field services are effective and customers requirements are met.
  • Strong working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions
  • Solid field service knowledge and functionalities
  • Provide direction and leadership required to achieve professional technical services, profitability and quality standards.
  • Works with store services managers and parts personnel to provide timely support for field service technicians.
  • Maintain an adequate and appropriate staff of qualified, trained, and customer-oriented service technicians.
  • Establish and maintain customer contacts to ensure a good working relationship with customers and promote customer service work.
  • Responsible for all warranty performed in the field to insure fair and equitable treatment of the customer and the company. Optimize warranty reimbursement from vendors.
  • Interact with field service personnel in repair circumstances and provides the instruction and coaching necessary to develop diagnostic, safe, clean, efficient and effective high quality work.

Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent customer relation skills.
  • People management experience is required.
  • Fleet Management knowledge is essential.
  • Good computer and systems knowledge.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in a dealership environment.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Preference given for 2 year technical degree.
  • Prior experience as a service writer with dispatch experience essential.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
