Job description

Doug Anderson Plumbing and Heating is looking for a full-time Plumbing and Heating Installation Apprentice to join our team in Billerica, MA. This is a full-time job with steady hours and a pay range of $18 – $40 per hour, based on experience.

A DAY AS A PLUMBING AND HEATING INSTALLATION APPRENTICE:

You will spend your days working on underground, rough, and finish plumbing for both remodels and new construction. You will install heating systems, piping, and fixtures, making sure everything matches the project plans. You will work closely with general contractors, inspectors, and project managers. Each day, you will test systems, walk customers through the finished work, and always aim to deliver high-quality results that show care and skill.


YOUR SCHEDULE

You will work full-time, onsite in Billerica, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can count on having steady and reliable work hours.


PLUMBING AND HEATING INSTALLATION APPRENTICE REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of residential plumbing and remodel installation experience
  • Heating system installation experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Personal hand tools
  • Ability to install sold jobs and complete all necessary setup and testing of systems
  • Physical ability for lifting, ladder work, and work in confined spaces

Preferred:

  • Journeyman Plumbing License or advanced apprentice-level experience
  • Experience using ServiceTitan or similar software
  • Ability to coordinate remodels and support junior crew members
