This role in summary
Whirlpool is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the Quality Analyst role.
This role will be onsite at our Clyde Manufacturing Facility in Clyde, OH.
The Quality Analyst is responsible for leading themselves and technicians to drive premium product quality. Specific responsibilities include implementing quality control programs to respond to internal and external customer quality concerns, and drive continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes and product design parameters.
Your responsibilities will include
  • Solve problems with product quality using root cause analysis and implementing countermeasures
  • Coordinate technician activities across all shifts to complete critical quality control reaction plans including hold orders and reworks
  • Quality Control continuous improvement activities and problem solving methodology

Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 6+ months of manufacturing experience (experience may include co-ops or internships)

Preferred skills and experiences
  • 2 years of quality or engineering experience in a manufacturing facility
  • OpEx, Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar statistical analysis certifications
  • PFMEA, Control Plan, and Cpk/CPM experience
