The Business HR team implements the organization's human resource strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives. Evaluate the organization's future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to the HR strategy and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs.
This role in summary
Whirlpool is seeking a strategic Human Resources business partner responsible for developing & executing strategic talent initiatives, ensuring organizational effectiveness through diagnoses and partnering with the business on solutions, and building culture. You will have a seat at the table and are expected to contribute as any other member of the business leadership team would.
This role is fully onsite Monday through Friday in Mount Pleasant, WI. A comprehensive relocation package is available for eligible candidates.
Your responsibilities will include
  • Act as a strategic partner with Insinkersator business leaders to lead and drive people excellence to enable Insinkerator to achieve their deliverables and positively impact Whirlpool's North America business
  • Develop & execute sustainable talent strategies that serve the business strategy & needs
  • Ensure organizational effectiveness, by connecting the dots through a combination of data and pattern recognition to diagnose and solve for organizational needs
  • Coach leaders and employees
  • Lead the core annual HR processes for the Insinkerator business unit, including but not limited to: performance management, pay planning, workforce planning, talent assessment, succession planning, and development planning
  • Leverage Center of Excellence (COE) driven solutions & the HR HUB (Operations) to meet business objectives and organizational issues

Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years experience in Human Resources
  • Experience in effectively partnering & ability to influence senior level business leaders

  • Master's Degree or MBA.
  • Knowledge and insight about the business to fully engage in business discussions and lead People Strategy to improve talent and business outcomes.
  • Develop effective relationships with clients by building trust, leveraging networks, applying HR expertise, and measuring and ensuring business results.
