This role in summary
Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Manufacturing Engineering Analyst to fulfill a new role located at the Findlay Manufacturing facility in Findlay, OH. This role will cover day-to-day support for the press and fab areas, along with delivering projects to optimize equipment and processes to deliver plant metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Your responsibilities will include
  • Root cause problem solving for major equipment downtime
  • Eliminate or mitigate safety risks
  • Develop creative ways to reduce equipment scrap
  • Increase equipment output though design changes
  • Analyze data to pinpoint losses and reduce cost
  • Work cross functionally to achieve goals
  • Deliver projects on time to drive continuous improvement

Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • 6+ months of manufacturing experience including co-ops and internship

Preferred skills and experiences
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Project management experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • WCM (World Class Manufacturing) experience
