The US HCP Insights Lead, HIV Prevention (PrEP), will report to the Director, US Market Research & Competitive Intelligence within the Insights & Analytics team.

This role is accountable for generating decision-relevant insights that inform US HIV PrEP strategy and commercial decision-making. The role partners closely with Brand, Medical, Market Access, Customer Experience, Portfolio Strategy, and other cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into actionable research objectives, and deliver evidence-based recommendations that support business decisions.

The role leads HCP primary market research from study design through execution, vendor management, analysis, and insight delivery. In addition to primary research, the role is expected to integrate evidence from multiple sources to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and business opportunities.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

Business Partnership & Insight Support

  • Serve as a strategic insights partner to Brand, Medical, Market Access, Customer Experience, Portfolio Strategy, and other cross-functional stakeholders

  • Translate business needs and insight gaps into clear research objectives and actionable research plans that support key business decisions

  • Provide objective, evidence-based perspectives and recommendations to support strategic and tactical decision-making

Primary Market Research Leadership

  • Lead qualitative and quantitative primary market research with HCPs to support US HIV PrEP initiatives

  • Design and execute a range of research programs, including ATU studies, brand tracking, segmentation, customer journey research, message and positioning testing, and opportunity assessments

  • Manage external research vendors across study design, fieldwork, analysis, and reporting, ensuring methodological rigor, quality execution, budget stewardship, timely delivery, and compliance with internal governance requirements

Insight Integration & Communication

  • Integrate findings across primary market research, competitive intelligence, syndicated data, claims data, epidemiology, customer feedback, and other relevant sources to develop a comprehensive evidence base and maximize the value of existing information

  • Translate research findings into clear business implications, strategic recommendations, and actions for stakeholders

Operational Excellence

  • Manage multiple concurrent research initiatives and competing stakeholder priorities while maintaining alignment with business timelines

  • Uphold high standards of research quality, analytical rigor, and insight generation, with a bias toward concise, decision-ready outputs

  • Evaluate and apply innovative methodologies, tools, and data sources when they can answer business questions more effectively or efficiently


Why You?
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
  • Bachelor's degree & 7+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech commercial experience

  • Direct experience leading HCP-focused primary market research in a commercial pharmaceutical or biotech role

  • Demonstrated ability to frame business questions, design appropriate research approaches, and influence decisions through insights

  • Strong expertise across qualitative and quantitative research methodologies

  • Experience managing multiple research vendors and concurrent projects

  • Strong analytical judgment and clear written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
  • Experience in HIV, infectious disease, or another specialty/regulated therapeutic area

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)

  • Experience supporting brand launch or lifecycle strategy, and syndicated/secondary data integration (e.g., IQVIA, claims)

  • Strong ability to synthesize research findings into clear implications and recommendations for senior stakeholders
