Radiology Technologist Job Description:
The Radiologic Technologist must be a licensed professional responsible for the operation and performance of medical imaging procedures to the patient.
Responsibilities for a Rad Tech:
  • Analyze medical images from various modalities to accurately diagnose patient conditions.
  • Work closely with medical specialists to offer expert insights and recommendations for patient care based on imaging results.
  • Uphold high imaging standards, implement protocols, and ensure adherence to radiation safety guidelines.
  • This version streamlines the content while maintaining the key points.
Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or equivalent and AAS degree
  • Illinois State licensure
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Current ARRT Certification
