Inside Sales Associateย 

Job Title:ย Inside Salesย Associateย ย 

Job Summary:ย 

Provide sales and customer service support to both retail and contractor customersย utilizingย knowledge of sales techniques and company product and service knowledge.ย Assistย customers with product selection byย determiningย customer requirements and expectationsย in order toย recommend specific products and services.ย 

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Build relationships with customers.ย 

  • Ability to useย companyย computer system to enter orders.ย 

  • Complete sales orders and tender cash salesย 

  • Develop product knowledge toย assistย customers with purchases.ย 

  • Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers toย determineย necessary strategic sales approaches.ย 

  • Overcome objections of prospective customersย 

  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.ย 

  • Protects company values by keeping financial information and plans confidential.ย 

  • Responsible for following and enforcing all safety rules and policies as outlined by and communicated by Bliffert Lumber management.ย 

  • Act as our storeโ€™s representative and provide exceptional customer serviceย 

  • Reports injuriesย immediatelyย to Managerย 

  • Additionalย job responsibilities to beย determinedย by Managerย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • Reports to the location managerย 

  • Standing/sitting/walking/stairsย 

  • Lifting/carrying light productย 

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. as needed.ย
