Title: Inside Sales Representative (Hybrid)

Reports To: Inside Sales Manager

Summary:

Responsible for an assigned territory and customer base with the ultimate goal of increasing new and existing revenue streams. Build a successful sales pipeline and partner with Field Sales as the voice of the customer to identify opportunities to grow and retain business.

Responsibilities:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
  • Maintain a monthly sales goal and work on quotes and customer requests by suggestive selling
  • Enter orders, close sales, and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and work with field sales representative to develop accounts
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
  • Team with partners to build pipeline and close deals soliciting new contacts within new and existing accounts (i.e., Engineers, Buyers, and Requisitions)
  • Expediting or preventative expediting for your customers when necessary
  • Learn and understand customer needs and requirements
  • Attend seminars and tradeshows if applicable
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Strong phone presence
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications:

  • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent inside sales and customer service experience
  • Experience meeting and exceeding sales quotas/goals
