Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture business relationships with current and potential customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct outbound calls and correspondence to promote our manufacturing services and products.
  • Attend trade shows and conventions to showcase our offerings and connect with customers.
  • Prepare quotations and proposals for customers, gathering necessary information internally to facilitate the process.
  • Manage sample distribution to existing customers and prospects.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding products, packaging, logistics, and other related matters.
  • Process orders, handle invoicing, and coordinate shipping using internal software systems.
  • Prepare export documentation and liaise with freight forwarders for shipments.
  • Assist with documentation related to financial matters in collaboration with the Accounting Department.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and coordinate shipments accordingly.
  • Maintain and update product information and records in the company database.
  • Resolve discrepancies in receiving documentation and manage material returns.
  • Support inventory control activities.
  • Coordinate registration requests, stability studies, and sample requests.
  • Prepare monthly reports and updates on order statuses for each customer.
  • Foster open communication with various internal departments.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs, interests, and competitive activities.
  • Assist in product development initiatives in collaboration with R&D.
  • Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results and supporting colleagues.
  • Perform additional clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting sales goals and closing deals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

Compensation:

  • Annual base salary of $60,000/yr
  • Potential to earn up to an additional $2,000/month in commission based on performance (OTE).
