As the RVI Inside Sales Representative, you will be the interface between RVI clients, Account Executives, and Operations to ensure sales orders are entered, processed and invoiced correctly to ensure customer delivery and expectations are met.
What does an Inside Sales Rep do at RVI?
  • Act as main contact for general RMA (Return Materials Authorization) email and respond/distribute accordingly
  • Communicate with client when they have a request for orders and lead times by telephone or email
  • Send out RMA information to clients per inquiries
  • Create all Sales Orders in Global Shop
  • Create New Customers in Global Shop
  • Create New Part Numbers in Global Shop
  • Communicate with Account Executives and clients to ensure orders are received and entered with all necessary information
  • Interface with Production Planning to ensure requested delivery dates can be met
  • Provide tracking information for shipped orders per client request
  • Change Sales Order based on new client information (ex: quantities)
  • Ability to navigate Global Shop to research Order History, Sales Analysis to assist both clients, Production Planning and Sales
  • Ensure customer communication is copied into customer file
  • Pull Failure Analysis data per client request in absence of Account Executive
  • Perform marketing related activities in support of sales
  • Perform administrative duties as needed by the sales department
  • Flex to other departments as needed

What do we look for in a qualified Inside Sales Rep candidate?
  • Fully computer literate (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, Custom data bases)
  • Ability to respond within short timelines of requested information
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Organized, self-disciplined and professional in all forms of interaction
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Prior experience in manufacturing preferred
