POSITION TITLE: Inside Sales Representative
JOB CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Inside Sales Manager
LOCATION: Mount Laurel, NJ
COMPENSATION $30.00-$32.00 plus incentives
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Inside Sales Representative will help to drive the sales of Company products with existing and new customers. The inside sales representative will primarily make outbound sales calls to our existing dealer base while working closely with the Sales and Customer Service teams, as well as end customers, resellers, and the entire management group.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Learning the fundamentals of radio communication
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Marketing, Credit, Sales Support, Production, and Logistics to streamline sales transactions and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Drive sales growth and exceed company sales targets by promoting and selling Key products across various channels
  • Remain knowledgeable and up to date on Icom products and services and industry trends
  • Maintain accurate records and information on all customer activities in CRM (Pipedrive)
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
  • Prepare sales forecasts
  • Track relevant KPIs
  • Occasionally travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Other Duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• 3+ years of sales experience with strong emphasis on cold calling and new account acquisition.
• Experience in the 2-way radio industry is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets, particularly through proactive outreach and cold calling efforts.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools to effectively manage and track customer interactions and sales performance.
• A results-driven mindset, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth through strategic prospecting and sales tactics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a persuasive demeanor that resonates well over the phone and in face-to-face interactions.
• Be available to travel on a quarterly basis to meet with customers and attend trade shows
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, where teamwork and adaptability are essential to success.
