Job description

About Us

FOX Innovation & Technologies (โ€œFITโ€) is a leading global partner in turbomachinery aftermarket engineering and services, dedicated to enhancing energy security, reducing emissions, and driving operational value for industries around the world. We combine world-class proprietary technologies, rapid cycle capabilities, and deep industry expertise to provide OEM-level solutions across centrifugal compressors, pumps, turbines, valves, and other mission-critical rotating equipment.

More than just a service provider, FIT is an OEM-caliber engineering and manufacturing hub, capable of reengineering, revamping, and remanufacturing complex machinery to meet client demands with precision and sustainability. Join us and be part of a team where cutting-edge engineering meets shop-floor realityโ€”delivering solutions that keep global industry turning effectively and responsibly.

The Opportunity

The Inside Sales Analyst plays a key role in developing accurate, timely, and competitive quotations and proposals for the inspection, repair, and upgrade of rotating equipment including general purpose and API centrifugal pumps, steam turbines, and compressors.

This position blends technical aptitude with commercial insight to ensure each proposal meets customer requirements, aligns with applicable standards, and supports FITโ€™s commitment to delivering OEM-level quality, responsiveness, and value.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer inquiries, equipment data, and repair reports to define scope and commercial requirements.
  • Develop detailed cost estimates and formal quotations for repair, overhaul, or parts replacement of general purpose and API pumps, steam turbines, and compressors.
  • Interpret applicable API standards (e.g., API 610, 611/612, 617, 687) to ensure compliant repair proposals.
  • Coordinate with engineering and the repair shop to evaluate as-found conditions, determine feasible repair options, and identify upgrade opportunities.
  • Tailor work scopes based on inspection findings, customer priorities, and equipment criticalityโ€”ranging from minimal component replacement to full reconditioning or rerate projects.
  • Obtain and analyze vendor and internal pricing for parts, materials, machining, and field services.
  • Ensure quotations meet margin, lead time, and quality targets while maintaining competitiveness.
  • Work closely with field sales, shop floor, and customers to clarify technical issues, repair options, and pricing.
  • Respond promptly to RFQs for spare parts, emergency repairs, and planned outages.
  • Support customers by explaining alternative repair solutions, interchangeability, and delivery trade-offs.
  • Coordinate handoff to operations or project management once an order is received, ensuring a smooth transition from quote to execution.
  • Track quote turnaround times, win/loss rates, and pricing trends to continuously improve quotation accuracy and response speed.
  • Maintain and update parts and labor cost databases for common repair scopes.
  • Assist with development of standard repair work scopes and pricing templates for high-volume models.

Qualifications

  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in oil & gas, manufacturing, or inside sales, preferably within the rotating equipment repair or aftermarket services industry.
  • Familiarity with API standards (610, 611/612, 617, 687) and general repair procedures for rotating equipment.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, inspection reports, and photographs
  • Understanding of common wear components (impellers, bearings, seals, rotors, diaphragms, casings, etc.) and associated repair processes (welding, machining, balancing).
  • Good analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/CRM platforms.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
