Job description

SUMMARY
Maintain confidentially in addressing matters pertaining to residents, care and service and human resources. The Resident Escort will provide rapid, dependable escort service for residents going to medically related appointments outside of the health and rehabilitation center and functions or services within the health and rehabilitation center. The escort also coordinates the scheduling of medical appointments and transportation services. Also may perform the duties of a Certified Nursing Assistant.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an approved Nursing Aide Training Program AND Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
  • Current CPR Certification
  • On going inservice training provided in patient handling, movement and body lifting techniques.
  • Instructions on the care and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Inservice training in crisis management, death and dying and other required/recommended inservices for CNA recertification.
