Job description

Role Overview:

To identify, document, and optimize business processes across departments, ensuring operational efficiency, cost reduction, and improved service quality. The Process Improvement Specialist drives continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with relevant departments to understand current processes.
  • Map and document existing workflows (AS-IS) using standardized process documentation methods.
  • Design optimized future-state workflows (TO-BE) focused on eliminating redundancies and inefficiencies in coordination with all stake holders.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the implementation of approved process improvements.
  • Train staff in newly developed or updated processes to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Monitor process performance post-implementation using key metrics (e.g., time, cost, quality).
  • Collaborate closely with the PMO and Innovations Manager, Automation Specialist and other departmental stakeholders to align improvements         with technology adoption plans.
  • Conduct ROI and impact assessments for each automation project.
  • Prepare periodic reports summarizing improvements achieved, cost savings, and productivity gains.
Required Qualifications:

Experience
2-4 years of proven experience in business process automation, process improvement, or digital transformation roles.
Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business value through process optimization or automation (e.g., cost savings, cycle time reduction).
Experience establishing or supporting automation programs or Centers of Excellence (CoE).
Strong knowledge of process mapping and BPMN tools (BlueWorks live or Similar).
Exposure to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) is an advantage

Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science with business administration focus
ABPMP CBPP, APQC, OMG OCEB 2 or any other project management experience and certification would be a plus.
