Job description

Our client is a leading residential home builder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality communities across Alberta. With a commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence, they continue to experience growth across their residential portfolio and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Calgary team.


Your new role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing residential construction projects from planning and pre-construction through to completion. Working closely with internal teams, consultants, trades, and stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full lifecycle of residential construction projects.
  • Developing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
  • Coordinating consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitoring project progress and proactively addressing risks and challenges.
  • Leading project meetings and providing regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Reviewing contracts, change orders, scopes of work, and procurement activities.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and construction best practices.


What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years of project management experience within residential construction.
  • Experience managing single-family, multi-family, townhome, or master-planned community projects.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, construction methodologies, and contract administration.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
