Job Description
Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Facilities Design, the Engineer ensures the competent design, engineering, and construction documentation of projects in the District's facilities capital programs. Oversees the work of contracted architects, engineers, and consultants. Reviews and approves products and drawings for compliance with District standards, local industry best practices, and statutory requirements. Collaborates with Facilities Planners and Construction Project Managers on all project phases. Serves as an engineering resource to District staff on other capital projects and/or capital planning.
