ServicePoint has a customer seeking a Part-Time Services Technician for a 6 month+ 100% onsite position located in Burlington, MA. The hours would be standard hours of 8AM-5PM on 3 selected days that are flexible to work based on what works for the candidate which will need to be revealed at the start of the process. Our customer is seeking a reliable and skilled Onsite Deskside Support Technician to provide support services at our client's locations. This role will require hands-on technical support to ensure smooth and efficient operation of client systems and devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide, onsite deskside support to end-users, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. Troubleshoot and resolve desktop-level issues, including software and hardware problems, for desktops, laptops, printers, and tablets. Diagnose and resolve software-related issues across various operating systems and applications. Perform hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and support for client desktops, laptops, printers, and tablets. Provide excellent customer service and technical support, ensuring a positive end-user experience.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in IT support, particularly in desktops, laptops, printers, and tablets.
· Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose hardware, software, and networking issues.
· Experience with various operating systems, including Windows and macOS, and common software applications.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
· Own transportation to travel to the client locations
· Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work in a professional, client-facing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar credentials. Previous experience in deskside support or similar roles.
