Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day Epic Data Courier administration and migration activities, ensuring accurate and efficient movement of application data across environments.
Partner with application teams to review, validate, and coordinate Data Courier migration requests, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to established change control processes.
Collaborate with Epic application analysts to develop and manage Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)-driven migration plans and deployment requests.
Perform audits and quality reviews of Data Courier migrations to ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance requirements, and best practices.
Assist in the design and execution of data migration strategies, including large-scale data loads and environment synchronization activities.
Monitor Epic platform performance, system availability, and migration outcomes, proactively identifying and escalating issues as needed.
Support continuous improvement efforts by helping to optimize migration workflows, documentation, and operational processes.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
  • Can this role review and consider experience in lieu of a degree? Yes
  • Knowledge or education in systems engineering or system administration 0-1 year required
  • Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and system administration principles.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Strong understanding of data structure and database systems.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and contribute to team projects.
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Understanding of system monitoring concepts and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to document processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
