Job description

Overview
The Network System Administrator II role is to perform all primary responsibilities defined for the Network System Administrator I. Provide 2nd level technical support and training to Network System Administrator I personnel. Provide 2nd-level support for the Bank's enterprise Internet Perimeter infrastructure to include Firewall administration, web-filtering, multi-factor authentication and secure file transfer. Pro-actively monitor data and voice network to maximize network availability for the Bank's network infrastructure in conformance with Bank policies, procedure and objectives. Work with other departments in the implementation of network technologies. Must be able to support a variety of technologies. Performs any functions, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers.
Responsibilities
  • Provide 2nd-level maintenance and support for an enterprise level Cisco LAN/WAN system including after hours if required.
  • Assist primary Cisco Telephony System Administrator in the maintenance and support for an enterprise level Cisco Telephony System.
  • Provide 2nd- level maintenance, and support for an Enterprise Internet Perimeter Infrastructure including after hours if required.
  • Provide first-level support for enterprise level systems including: web-filtering, multifactor authentication, secure file transfer and SSL-VPN.
  • Pro-actively monitor data and voice network to maximize network availability. Provide required network management reports.
  • Monitor and review system, application and security logs across assigned systems to ensure that all are functional and secure. Consults with vendors as required.
  • Identify, define and accurately document all detected / reported problems and activities into the Information Technology call tracking system.
  • Create system models, specifications, diagrams and document system operational procedures to enhance functions
  • Perform all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.
  • Perform related and unrelated duties as may be required.
  • Refer sales opportunities to other departments or bank affiliates in support of established objectives.
  • Assist with IS Department Projects as required.

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of five years of proven information technology experience supporting an enterprise data and voice network. Cisco Certified Network Technician (CCNT).
  • Minimum five years of proven work experience supporting industry standard hardware components including servers and blade systems.
  • Self-directed, able to prioritize and effectively handle multiple incidents at a time under high-pressure and challenging situations.
  • Dedicated team player with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the company.
  • Proven deductive logic, complex problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license. Regular travel to bank sites required.
  • Must have schedule flexibility and be able to work extended hours and weekends.

Expected Pay Range
The expected annual pay range for this role is $76,463 to $135,731. This pay range is the annual salary we in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation paid may fluctuate higher or lower than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future due to several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, certifications, and qualifications, internal equity, adjustments to the requirements and responsibilities of the job, business needs, and economic and market data.
