Inner Packer (Nights)

Position: Inner Packer

Location: Joyalways/129 S. Technology Drive, Reidsville, NC 27320

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Thursday Nights (6pm-6am)

Required training would be 6am-6pm for a month or less.

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour plus shift differential

We are a growing wet wipe manufacturing company producing high‑quality consumer products. As production expands, we’re looking for dependable Inner Packers to support our converting and packaging lines and ensure every product meets our quality and presentation standards.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, consistency, and being part of a fast‑moving production team.

About the Role

The Inner Packer is responsible for packing wet wipe products directly from the production line, inspecting product quality, and ensuring accurate counts and packaging. You’ll work closely with machine operators and QA to maintain smooth, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pack products from the production line into inner packaging (bags, canisters, flow packs, etc.)
  • Inspect product, labels, seals, and packaging for quality and consistency
  • Ensure accurate counts and proper orientation of products
  • Keep pace with high‑speed production lines while maintaining quality standards
  • Communicate any defects, jams, or irregularities to the Machine Operator or Line Lead
  • Maintain a clean and organized packing area
  • Follow all safety, GMP, and hygiene requirements
  • Assist with line changeovers and material replenishment as needed
  • Complete basic production paperwork or digital entries

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or packing experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to stand for long periods and keep up with fast‑paced production
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Basic counting and documentation skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for 8–12 hour shifts
  • Ability to lift 15–30 lbs as needed
  • Ability to bend, reach, and move around production equipment
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise and temperature variations
