Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough one-on-one acupuncture consultations, assessing each patient's unique health concerns and needs.
• Administer individualized acupuncture treatments aimed at alleviating pain, managing stress, and promoting overall wellness.
• Facilitate group acupuncture sessions and community workshops to educate and promote the benefits of acupuncture therapy.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient visits in our electronic medical records system, including treatment plans and follow-up care schedules.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and outcomes.
• Provide ongoing support and education to patients, families, and community members about acupuncture principles, techniques, and lifestyle recommendations.
• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in acupuncture and holistic care by attending continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a dedicated Acupuncturist at Inner Light Acupuncture, you will primarily serve an outpatient clientele. Our patient demographic includes individuals seeking relief from chronic pain, stress management solutions, and support for various health conditions. We welcome patients of all ages and backgrounds, and you will have the chance to work closely with each person, tailoring treatment plans specifically suited to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in acupuncture or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid acupuncture license in the state of Virginia.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively educate and engage with patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical acupuncture experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of acupuncture techniques and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
