Join a Precision Team in the Edinburgh Area

Step into a role where your craftsmanship keeps production moving. As an Injection Mold Tooling Maintenance Specialist, you’ll ensure mold tools are ready, reliable, and safe—so the line never skips a beat.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

You arrive ready to own your station. Early in the shift, you complete a scheduled mold changeover, verifying each component so the tool is production-ready. Mid-shift, a press operator flags a tooling issue—you diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair the injection mold to get parts flowing again. Before clocking out, you document your work, tidy the bay, and suggest a process tweak that could shave minutes off the next changeover.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform mold changeovers and confirm tooling is fully production-ready.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair injection mold tooling issues.
  • Assemble and disassemble mold tools for maintenance and repair.
  • Recommend improvements to tooling, processes, or equipment to boost efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Handle additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Up to $34 per hour, based on experience.

Shifts & Training
  • Second shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm.
  • Third shift: Monday–Friday, 10:00 pm–6:00 am.
  • Training occurs on first shift (6:00 am–2:30 pm) and may last up to 6 months.
What You Bring
  • Comfort with basic shop/mechanical math.
  • Automotive Technician background preferred; automotive maintenance strongly preferred.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions—both verbal and written.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Previous experience with injection mold tool maintenance and assembly preferred.
