What is the difference between Inheritance Funding vs Probate Attorney?

AspectInheritance Funding
AspectProbate Attorney

Inheritance Funding provides cash advances to heirs before probate concludes, offering liquidity during estate settlement. Probate Attorneys handle legal processes to validate and distribute estates. While Inheritance Funding focuses on financial support, Probate Attorneys manage legal proceedings. Both roles are involved in estate matters but serve different purposes, with Inheritance Funding offering quick financial solutions and Probate Attorneys ensuring legal compliance.

How does inheritance funding work?

Inheritance funding involves providing a cash advance to individuals awaiting the settlement of an inheritance or legal claim. The funding company purchases a portion of the expected inheritance or settlement, and the individual receives immediate funds, which are repaid from the inheritance once it is received. This process often requires documentation of the inheritance or legal case and may involve assessing the expected value and timeline.
