Job Summary
The CI Solutions team builds, validates, and launches NetApp data management, hybrid cloud, FlexPod, and next-generation AI infrastructure solutions. This role serves as a technical leader and trusted advisor, translating product capabilities and solution architectures into customer value through technical strategy, solution validation, field enablement, and customer success. The TME brings outside-in feedback from customers, partners, and the field to influence product and solution direction across hybrid cloud, AI, and enterprise infrastructure.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, storage, cloud, technical marketing, product management, solutions architecture, engineering, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex technical initiatives from concept through launch and influencing product direction, solution strategy, and go-to-market outcomes.
  • Shape FlexPod and CI solution strategy by incorporating customer, partner, and field feedback into roadmap and architecture priorities.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Strategic Alliances, and technology partners on features, solution requirements, launches, and joint go-to-market execution.
  • Develop, validate, and document reference architectures, deployment methodologies, demos, and best practices across compute, networking, storage, virtualization, cloud, and AI ecosystems.
  • Build and operate lab and test environments to validate performance, scalability, reliability, security, operational simplicity, and customer use cases.
  • Create technical collateral, including white papers, blogs, presentations, videos, demos, product documentation, competitive positioning, and field enablement content.
  • Conduct sales, partner, and customer workshops, technical deep dives, briefings, RFP support, and executive presentations.
  • Drive automation, validation tools, deployment frameworks, monitoring approaches, and operational improvements that reduce risk and improve execution.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and solution-level issues and provide escalation support when required.
  • Represent NetApp at customer engagements, conferences, partner events, and industry forums while contributing to thought leadership and market credibility.

Required Skills and Capabilities
  • Deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, including storage and data management, compute, networking, virtualization, Linux, enterprise applications, and databases.
  • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud, AI/ML infrastructure, Kubernetes, containers, distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, automation frameworks, and infrastructure architecture.
  • Ability to connect technical capabilities to differentiated value propositions, customer requirements, market dynamics, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills for audiences ranging from executives and customers to engineers and architects.
  • Proven ability to influence across Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Strategic Alliances, and partner organizations.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with FlexPod, converged infrastructure, AI infrastructure, hybrid cloud, reference architectures, technical marketing, solution engineering, or product management.
  • Knowledge of parallel file systems such as IBM Storage Scale or Lustre is a plus.
  • Server knowledge across Cisco, Supermicro, or Dell platforms is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with hyperscalers is a plus.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.

The target salary range for this position is $196,350 to 292,600. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
