Hypower, LLC. is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team!

Job Brief

An Assistant Project Manager works alongside the Project Manager to plan and execute projects. Duties include identifying clients' project needs and goals, creating a detailed plan to successfully complete a project, and organizing and storing project reports and documents.

The successful candidate may work alone or with a team and will undertake the following duties and more as instructed by the Project Manager:

  • Assisting in all phases of underground utility projects, including scheduling, procurement, construction, and closeout.
  • Knowledge of permitting and inspection processes
  • Coordinate utility locates, potholing, and conflict resolution with existing infrastructure
  • Documents job progress, Permits, changes, delays, submittals, RFI's, etc.
  • Work closely with superintendents, foremen, and field crews to ensure proper execution
  • Conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices, and drawing estimates
  • Responsible for controlling the financial position of the project including billings, change orders and managing material and sub-contractors,
  • Tracking, and reporting project progress
  • Maintain accurate project records and as-built documentation
  • Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in project management or administrative assistance
  • Proficiency in any Microsoft Office software
  • Proficient using Procore and Bluebeam Revu is a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
