About the Role
Seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. You will manage 3 active heavy civil highway and road construction projects in Fairfield County, with project values ranging from $1M-$9M. This role oversees projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple heavy civil and highway projects simultaneously from pre-construction through closeout
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and field crews
  • Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance
  • Monitor project costs and prepare budget forecasts and financial reports
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, quality control, and progress milestones are met
  • Manage all project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with all CTDOT, municipal, and OSHA safety regulations

Required Qualifications
  • 3 to 7 or more years of construction project management experience
  • Background in heavy civil, highway, or road construction strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, contracts, and scheduling
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating field operations
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar software
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of Connecticut local permitting, DOT regulations, and municipal requirements
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification
  • Familiarity with the Fairfield County market and local subcontractor base
