Job Description:

As a Security Program Manager at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and United States Army. Become part of a diverse group of 500 professionals deliveringexpertisein information security, policy enforcement, and risk management across Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood, Maryland, for a portfolio of efforts spanning 5 years and a total value exceeding $600 million. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with specialized experience in security program management, skilled in overseeing program implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement to advance Army modernization and support to the warfighter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the implementation of information security programs within the organization or designated area of responsibility.

  • Develop and execute strategies for personnel, infrastructure, policy enforcement, emergency planning, and security awareness.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and organizational policies.

  • Manage resources, coordinate security training, andmaintainongoing security awareness initiatives.

  • Conduct risk assessments and support emergency planning and response activities.

  • Maintain required certifications and continuing education hours as a member of the Cybersecurity Workforce.

  • Prepare and deliver reports, briefings, and documentation for stakeholders and leadership.

  • Ensure eligibility and compliance for security clearances and privileged access requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor'sto Graduate degree from an accredited university, or completion of relevant CNSSI/NDU certificates or military training courses

  • Minimum of 5+ years of specialized experience in Security Program Management

  • Active TS/SCI is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • For entry-level: CCNA, CAP, Security+ (CE), or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certificationrequired.

  • For master-level: CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CASP, CCISO, or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certificationrequired.

  • Minimum of 40 continuing education hours per year as a member of the Cybersecurity Workforce.

  • Completion of OJT evaluation (NAVEDTRA 43469 watch station 302/303/304 as applicable) within directed timelines.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to obtain andmaintainprivileged access asrequired.
