NAVA Software solutions is looking for a Lead Infrastructure Architect
Details:
Lead Infrastructure Architect
Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ
Duration: 12 months
Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex program(s) to modernize and refresh end of life technology such as operating system and database updates, cloud migrations, and re-platforming legacy systems.
  • Understand the business needs of the customer and provide quality customer support by using appropriate communication, anticipating customer needs and/or issues, and understanding the broad impact of change on all customer processes.
  • Establish and drive internal processes to drive program delivery including technology solutions, enterprise and solutions architecture, model development and technically related business projects.
  • Provide leadership to technology team in the support of the corporate vision, department objectives and individual goals.
  • Provide direction and work to remove barriers and silos to accomplishing the success and implementation of projects across cross-functional teams.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate multiple Information Technology projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished within prescribed time frames.
  • Ensure project goals and requirements are met on schedule, within budget and are successfully completed.
  • Oversee all phases of project execution including initiation, planning/development, production/execution, monitors/controls, closing/post release activities for larger projects.
  • Track projects and issues closely, foster collaboration from both the business and technology groups and lead issue resolution meetings during projects
  • Accountable for final approval on releases for all projects within their assigned accounts, ensuring that nothing is missed and reducing reliability tickets.

Required
  • 15+ years of experience in Information Technology
  • Experience with Infrastructure and Network architecture
  • Systems Integration/Systems Architecture experience
  • Experience with Technology Lifecycle Management and/or System Modernization
  • Experience working in large scale 24x7x365 environments.
  • 7+ years of experience directly leading technology projects. Strong preference for experience leading technology modernization efforts and infrastructure refresh.
  • 5+ years of experience with data center, technology, and infrastructure operations
  • 5+ years of consulting experience leading projects in client facing role; Experience working with client executives (VP/CIO) to define programs, ensure business objectives are met, execute and report against measurable outcomes, and drive deliverables.
  • Experience managing teams of 10+ in an onshore/offshore model.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Product Implementation experience
  • Experience working with large clients (Fortune 500) and with a consulting/service organization.
  • Client facing experience and comfortable talking to C-level executives.
  • Waterfall and Agile experience

  • High volume transaction experience
