Infrastructure Engineer

You Have:
  • Experience designing, deploying, securing, and administering VMware ESXi clusters and v Center environments with high availability and resiliency
  • Experience designing, building, securing, and administering enterprise Micro sof t Windows virtual environments
  • Experience providing technical guidance on architecting, researching, and implementing tools and applications aligned to DoD RMF best practices
  • Experience contributing to Agile-based team ceremonies and workflows
  • Knowledge of enterprise storage solutions supporting virtualized environments
  • Ability to plan work, coordinate tasks, and lead technical teams
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience as a systems engineer, or 5+ years of experience as a systems engineer in lieu of a degree
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ Certification

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with auditing tools, such as Splunk and Aria Operations for Logs
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or JSON
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code ( IaC ) applications such as Ansible or TerraForm
  • Experience with Azure or AWS Cloud
  • Experience architecting, designing, and implementing enterprise storage solutions
  • Experience leading and mentoring small teams and providing technical leadership
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
  • VMware, Windows, or Cloud Technologies Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
