Overview
The IT Infrastructure Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of enterprise IT infrastructure initiatives, including cloud, network, systems, security, and platform modernization efforts. This role ensures infrastructure investments are delivered in alignment with organizational priorities, architectural standards, security requirements, and operational objectives focused on scalability, reliability, and performance.
This position provides technical leadership and subject matter expertise across infrastructure domains, while overseeing project execution, delivery roadmaps, resource planning, and risk management across multiple concurrent initiatives. The role is accountable for ensuring consistent delivery practices, effective prioritization, and successful execution of infrastructure programs from initiation through operational transition.
This position reports directly to the Director of Infrastructure and collaborates with cross-functional IT leadership, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery and ongoing optimization of enterprise infrastructure services.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery and operational oversight of enterprise IT infrastructure initiatives focused on delivery, including cloud, network, systems, security, and platform modernization efforts, and service performance objectives.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure project roadmaps, implementation plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, dependencies, and delivery milestones across multiple concurrent initiatives while proactively managing risks, issues, and escalations.
  • Provide technical leadership and infrastructure subject matter expertise to support implementation strategies, complex issue resolution, lifecycle management, disaster recovery readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead vendor and managed service provider (MSP) relationships, including contract oversight, SLA governance, service delivery performance, compliance requirements, escalation management, and ongoing service optimization.
  • Partner cross-functionally with IT, Security, Compliance, Operations, and business stakeholders to establish infrastructure delivery standards, ITSM processes, operational procedures, governance controls, and documentation practices that support organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate infrastructure delivery status, operational impacts, risks, and strategic recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders to support informed decision-making and organizational priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency across infrastructure delivery processes, tools, and workflows.

Qualifications
Required Field of Study:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum Years of Experience Required:
  • 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure (cloud, systems, network, or security)
  • 3+ years of experience managing infrastructure delivery and/or vendors
  • 2+ years of supervisory or project leadership

Description of Minimum Relevant Experience Required:
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end infrastructure delivery in enterprise or complex hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud), including design, implementation, and operational transition.
  • Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable), including compute, networking, storage, identity, and foundational cloud architecture principles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure delivery projects or programs, including planning, prioritization, resource coordination, risk management, and stakeholder communication across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Experience managing vendors, MSPs, and third-party service providers, including SLA oversight, performance management, escalation handling, and service optimization.
  • Strong working knowledge of ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, and release management) with experience improving or operating within structured service delivery environments.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure security, risk management, and compliance frameworks, with experience supporting audit readiness and governance requirements.

Preferred Field of Study:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Years of Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure (cloud, systems, network, or security)
  • 4+ years of experience managing infrastructure delivery and/or vendors
  • 3+ years of supervisory or project leadership

Description of Preferred Relevant Experience:
  • Experience managing vendor contracts, SOWs, and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Experience supporting outsourcing models or co-managed infrastructure environments
  • Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor onboarding, and financial tracking (cost management, invoicing)
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Project management certifications (PMP, Agile, Scrum)

    • Understanding of infrastructure cost management, budgeting, and vendor spend optimization

    • Ability to operate in fast-paced, multi-project environments

Occasional onsite presence may be required as well as periodic travel for purposes of attending required company-sponsored events, meetings, or all-hands gatherings.
