Job description

Job title : Infrastructure Operations Manager
Location: Pleasanton, CA (5 days onsite)
Position type: Fulltime
Client: Retail domain
We are looking for a Infrastructure Lead with deep expertise in data center infrastructure, servers, storage, DevOps and Cloud environment. This role demands strong technical leadership, operational ownership, and the ability to work closely with internal technology teams, business stakeholders, and external service providers to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal technology teams and business domain experts to understand infrastructure requirements and translate them into robust solutions
  • Act as the primary liaison with data centre service providers, vendors, and solution partners
  • Manage and oversee DC-DR architecture, including data synchronization, replication, and periodic DR drills
  • Own end-to-end responsibility for servers, storage, backup, and system infrastructure deployed in the data centres
  • Ensure proactive patching, monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, and availability management
  • Lead infrastructure operations across Bengaluru and Mumbai offices, ensuring consistency and compliance
  • Drive infrastructure standardization, documentation, and operational best practices
  • Identify risks, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges; propose and implement corrective actions
  • Support audits, regulatory requirements, and security reviews related to infrastructure operations.

Experience & Skills:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in data centre infrastructure support and operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience leading Networks, Linux , Windows, DevOps, Cloud environments
  • Experience supporting multiple technology stacks in high-availability environments.
  • Good working knowledge of servers, storage systems, backup solutions, and replication technologies
  • Experience with open-source monitoring and replication tools
  • Solid understanding of load balancers, web servers, SSL, proxy servers, and network-adjacent components
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently while also leading and collaborating within cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
