This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the standards of a U.S. Person.

We're looking for a skilled and self-directed IT Technician to join our team in a hands-on role. You'll work on-site and across Precinmac delivering advanced technical support across hardware, software, and infrastructure โ€” stepping in where complexity demands expertise and where clients need a trusted resource they can count on.

In this role, you'll go beyond day-to-day troubleshooting. You'll lead system upgrades, participate in IT projects, diagnose challenging issues, and recommend solutions that improve how our clients operate. You'll also play a critical role in ensuring and maintaining CMMC cybersecurity compliance โ€” keeping systems secure, documentation tight, and users informed and supported every step of the way.

If you're someone who thrives with autonomy, takes ownership of outcomes, and brings both technical depth and a service-first mindset to every client interaction, we'd love to talk.

Responsibilities:

Working under moderate to minimal supervision, the IT Technician II is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, system upgrades, end-user support, and hands-on hardware and software maintenance. This role provides elevated technical assistance, participates in IT projects, supports infrastructure improvements. The IT Technician is expected to diagnose complex issues, recommend solutions, and ensure a high level of service across the organization. Ensure, implement, and maintain CMMC compliance across systems and processes, including ongoing monitoring, documentation, and user support to meet mandated cybersecurity requirements.

  • Serve as front line and escalation point for advanced technical issues beyond Tier I support levels
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting across desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, and business systems
  • Participate in IT infrastructure projects including deployments, upgrades, and system rollouts
  • Perform root cause analysis and propose long-term corrective actions
  • Assist in maintaining, updating, and improving IT documentation and procedures
  • Mentor and provide guidance to IT Technician I team members
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex issues
  • Install, configure, and support a broad range of hardware and software systems
  • Maintain accurate and detailed ticket records and ensure timely resolution of support cases
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives including patching, antivirus, and security hardening

Education & Experience:

  • 3+ years of IT support experience or equivalent technical education
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across hardware, software, and networking
  • Experience with Virtual systems, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to document and explain technical issues
  • Experience supporting end users in both office and manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting CMMC (NIST 800-171) compliance requirements, including system configuration, documentation practices, and ongoing cybersecurity monitoring.
