Job description

In the Sr IT Engineer- Tanium Administrator role, you will impact our operational efficiency by identifying automation opportunities, streamlining processes, and implementing advanced IT solutions that align with our business objectives.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze existing IT systems and processes to identify automation opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design automation solutions that meet business needs.
  • Implement and maintain automation tools and frameworks to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
  • Protect Company Assets by ensuring Vulnerability Compliance, staying informed of the most recent Security Threats and how to remediate them and/or minimize risks to company assets and data. Creating and Deploying solutions (scripts, tools and patches) in an automated and sustainable way.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, translating them into actionable requirements for patching solutions.
  • Participate in end-to-end development of Security Operations projects, from initial concept through implementation, testing, and support, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Adhere to Agile project management practices, actively participating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of Vulnerability Remediation projects.
  • Facilitate and coordinate new technology (Tools, Processes and Communication strategies), ensuring that newly built endpoints meet the defined acceptance for security criteria and stakeholders are kept up to date on the process and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate patching/compliance performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement and recommending enhancements based on user feedback and system metrics.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in designing and managing patching and compliance using Intune, SCCM, or Tanium.
  • Strong technical knowledge of patch management processes and tools (Tanium, Intune, SCCM).
  • Must have scripting skills with PowerShell, or other related technologies.
  • Experience in vulnerability scanning and management tools such as Rapid7, Qualys, etc
  • Experience with server operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.

  • Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and best practices.
