TEKsystems is looking for a IT Desktop Support Specialists to support out customer in the Denver DTC area.

Job Description

- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution – Diagnosing and resolving technical issues for end-users, including problems with software, hardware, and network connectivity.

- User Support – Providing support to users via phone, email, chat, or in-person, addressing a wide range of IT-related queries and issues.

- User Account Management – Managing user accounts, including password resets, account creation, and access control to various systems and applications.

- Software Installation and Configuration – Installing, configuring, and updating software applications and operating systems on user devices.

- Hardware Setup and Maintenance – Setting up and maintaining computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.

- System Monitoring – Monitoring IT systems for performance issues or security breaches, escalating issues as needed.

- Knowledge Base Maintenance – Contributing to and maintaining a knowledge base of common issues and solutions to improve efficiency and support quality.

- Onboarding Support – Assisting with the onboarding of new employees, including setting up their IT equipment and providing necessary training on company systems and software.

- Escalation Management – Escalating more complex issues to higher-level IT staff or specialized teams when necessary.

- Continuous Learning – Keeping up-to-date with new technologies, software updates, and best practices in IT support to continuously improve service delivery.

- Request Fulfillment – Track all requests for new services or access to services not already assigned. Help streamline the available catalog of services and use policies.
