Job description

Operations Analyst

RiteScreen is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Operations Analyst to support operational performance and value-creation initiatives across our manufacturing operations. This is a U.S. based position.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted analytical partner to operations leadership, transforming complex operational data into clear insights that drive efficiency, cost reduction, and performance improvements. You'll work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to improve reporting, identify root causes of operational challenges, and support practical shop-floor improvements.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into messy or incomplete data environments, building structure where it doesn't exist, and helping organizations make better decisions through better data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze production losses including scrap, rework, downtime, changeovers, and speed loss, and quantify financial impact.
  • Perform variance analysis for labor, materials, overhead, and manufacturing performance vs. standard.
  • Develop and maintain standardized dashboards and KPI reporting that provide clear visibility into plant performance across locations.
  • Standardize metrics, definitions, and reporting cadence to ensure consistent performance measurement.
  • Translate complex operational data into clear insights and recommendations for plant leadership and executive teams.
  • Work with ERP, MES, WMS, and manual data sources to reconcile inconsistencies and establish a single source of truth.
  • Create and maintain data definitions, mapping, and governance standards including metric definitions and master data alignment.
  • Improve reporting efficiency by automating reports and reducing manual spreadsheet processes while maintaining practical solutions.
  • Support root cause analysis using structured problem-solving tools such as 5-Why, Pareto, and Fishbone analysis.
  • Assist with Lean initiatives, including standard work, visual management, daily management routines, and Kaizen events.
  • Track initiative outcomes including cost savings, capacity improvements, service gains, and quality improvements.
  • Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and Procurement to strengthen data capture and operational decision-making.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear shop-floor actions and leadership summaries.
  • Support operational rhythms including daily huddles, weekly operations reviews, and monthly business reviews.
  • Assist with capacity planning, labor planning, and line scheduling analytics.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and constraints.
  • Provide ad hoc operational analysis for plant leadership including downtime trends, staffing needs, supplier impacts, and service recovery opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–4+ years of experience in operations analysis, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, charts; Power Query a plus).
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership.

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • SQL for data extraction
  • Power BI or Tableau for dashboard development
  • Working knowledge of financial drivers and operational cost structures

Preferred Experience

  • Manufacturing or operations environment
  • Continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
  • KPI and dashboard development
  • Process mapping and operational analysis
  • Forecasting, scenario modeling, and trend analysis
  • ERP, WMS, or MES systems
  • Project management experience

Additional Information

  • Occasional travel may be required to support other RiteScreen locations.
  • This role offers the opportunity to build structure, improve operational visibility, and directly impact performance improvements across the organization.

This position is open to candidates who are currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship. RiteScreen does not offer visa sponsorship for this position. #IH #ZR
