About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.
Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
Informatica MDM Technical Architect
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly technical, deeply hands-on, and strategically minded Informatica MDM Technical Architect to lead the design, modernization, and delivery of enterprise-wide Master Data Management solutions. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and technical delivery lead supporting multiple customers - meaning you must be equally comfortable defining high-level strategic data roadmaps for executives and executing tactical hands-on development in the code.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of deep technical fluency within the Informatica IDMC platform, migrating legacy systems to the cloud, and a passion for embedding robust data governance into the core of enterprise data estates.
Key Responsibilities & Technical Requirements
  • Lead the end-to-end design, data modeling, and deployment of robust, enterprise-wide Master Data Management (MDM) architectures spanning multiple core business domains (e.g., Customer, Product, Supplier).
  • Demonstrate extensive hands-on expertise with the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform, explicitly leveraging Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
  • Architect and configure Informatica MDM SaaS products, including Customer 360 (C360), Reference 360 (R360), and related cloud-native multidomain MDM solutions.
  • Successfully operate at both the strategic level (defining roadmaps, target architectures) and the tactical level (hands-on development, configuration, and deep-dive troubleshooting).
  • Lead complex legacy-to-cloud modernization initiatives, transitioning older, on-premises Informatica MDM Hub architectures into cloud-native IDMC environments.
  • Infuse data governance frameworks, metadata catalogs, data lineage, and data quality standards natively into the MDM lifecycle using Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) and governance tools.
  • Effectively manage and support multiple customers simultaneously, aligning their unique business requirements with scalable, high-performing technical strategies.
  • Architect real-time API integrations, event-driven streaming, and batch ETL pipelines connecting MDM with modern cloud data platforms and SaaS applications.
  • Design and fine-tune complex match/merge rules, survivorship matrices, hierarchy management configurations, and multi-source ingestion frameworks.
  • Design intuitive data stewardship interfaces, custom task workflows (e.g., CAI, ActiveVOS), and business validation rules to maximize operational efficiency for data stewards.
  • Articulate complex technical designs, trade-offs, and strategic visions with clarity, reasoned judgment, and relevance to both engineering teams and business executive sponsors.
  • Actively leverage modern AI tools and generative AI features to accelerate development workflows, optimize code/configurations, and streamline technical documentation processes.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of strong, hands-on technical experience dedicated to Informatica MDM and data integration products (with 15+ years of overall IT/Data Architecture experience highly preferred to match senior market demands).
  • Successful delivery of multiple full-lifecycle enterprise MDM implementations from discovery and blueprinting through to production go-live.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

Note: This is an exceptionally hands-on technical architecture role. If you are a purely high-level strategist or administrative manager who no longer configures platforms or builds components, this position will not be a proper fit.
