Job Description

Informatica Architect with MDM experience                                           

 Location: Herndon, VA

Duration: 6 months approx. (Can be extended)


12 + Years of strong hands on Informatica 9.x/9.5/9.6 experience in architecting, engineering, performance/capacity engg, deployment standards in production, product integration, product support, overall fitment(product usage), sizing and setting up Informatica Environments. 

Experience with integrating metadata, etl processes and testing environments. Familiarity with Informatica Connectors, Core DW infrastructure and experience with appliance such as Teradata, Netezza and Exadata would be a big plus. 

Hands-on experience in platform configuration, code development, best practices, design patterns and use cases of MDM, Data Virtualization, Data Services, Proactive Monitoring, Data Exchange, Data transformation, Persistent data masking, Test data management, Power exchange and Power Center.

hands-on experience in configuration, design and development of large scale ETL and Enterprise Data Warehouse applications.

hands-on Informatica process Automation experience using Perl and UNIX shell scripting.

Experience with XML, Web service development 

Provide consulting services to internal customers and stakeholders.

Strong understanding of Oracle database, SQL optimization, SOA concepts, design patterns, tools, techniques and best practices.

Strong ability to understand, document and communicate technical architectures, best practices, toolsets and solutions.

Candidates should have experience with production support.

ESB's such as MQ/JMS or Tibco EMS are nice to have skills.

Must be detail oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Demonstrates excellent communication, time management, and technical presentation skills.

Ability to successfully work on multiple projects at the same time.
