Job Title: Talend ETL Developer
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Location: Ashburn, VA (Hybrid)
Responsibilities:
• Should be well experienced in ETL development using Talend Big data Platform.
• Should be able to create jobs in Talend and work with different data sources and databases, Mainly RDMS like SQL Server, Teradata, Redshift, Snowflake.
• Recommend changes to existing processes so data flow improves.
• Implement the latest solutions from Talend tool .
• Undergraduate degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field.
• Strong ETL Development background
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
Experience in developing jobs using ETL tool Talend.
Working on Talend Open Studio is a must ( version 8.0 and above) ,
Must have experience with data ingestion via API's,S3, Google files and various databases like SQL Server, Teradata, Redshift, Snowflake, Big query etc.
Experience in setting up Google Cloud BigQuery.
Should have worked on Talend Administration Management Console (TMC) to Schedule data ingestion and data analytic jobs.
Experience working with gitlab.
BQ Performance Optimization.
GCP architecture and cost optimization
DESIRED SKILLS:
Professional Cloud Data Engineer Certification
Python programming.
Create and Maintain CI/CD automation pipeline facilitating automated deployment.
