Description:
We are seeking an IBM MQ Administrator to join our team and be responsible for managing and maintaining our IBM MQ infrastructure
  • The IBM MQ Administrator will work closely with the development team to ensure the availability and reliability of our messaging infrastructure to support our applications and services
  • Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ servers and associated infrastructure
  • Monitor the performance of the IBM MQ servers and associated infrastructure, troubleshoot any issues, and take corrective action to resolve problems
  • Ensure the availability and reliability of IBM MQ servers and associated infrastructure, including implementation of High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
  • Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans for IBM MQ servers
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate IBM MQ into our applications and services
  • Manage access controls, security configurations, and authentication protocols for IBM MQ servers
  • Configure and manage IBM MQ objects, including queues, topics, and channels
  • Deep understanding of IBM MQ cluster design, operation and maintenance
  • Implement and maintain IBM MQ clustering and workload balancing
  • Work with other teams to ensure the integration of IBM MQ with other data stores and messaging systems
