Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Informatica CDGC for metadata cataloging and governance.

  • Integrate IIDMC services such as Data Quality, Data Integration, and Data Marketplace.

  • Perform metadata ingestion from various sources (Databases, ETL Tools, BI tools, Data Lakes, etc.).

  • Develop business glossaries, lineage, classifications, and data domains in CDGC.

  • Implement and maintain data stewardship workflows, policies, and governance rules.

  • Work closely with Data Owners, Stewards, and Architects to define governance standards.

  • Enable data discovery, profiling, and classification capabilities in CDGC.

  • Collaborate with business and IT teams for data lineage and impact analysis.

  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor governance KPIs.

  • Provide user training and onboarding on governance and catalog platforms.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to metadata ingestion, glossary management, and CDGC configurations.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong experience with Informatica CDGC, Axon (optional), and Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC).

  • Hands-on experience in Informatica IIDMC platform components (e.g., CDI, DQ, CDGC, Marketplace).

  • Experience with metadata connectors and scanners (Databases, Hadoop, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, BI tools, etc.).

  • Good knowledge of Data Governance frameworks, policies, and stewardship.

  • Familiarity with data classification, PII tagging, and data privacy principles.

  • Proficiency in SQL and working with REST APIs for metadata exchange (preferred).

  • Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data integration and cataloging.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or related field.

  • Informatica certification(s) in CDGC, DQ, or Data Governance is a strong plus.

  • 6+ years of total data management experience with at least 2 years in CDGC/IIDMC.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
