Role: Production Support Specialist (Informatica ETL & Hadoop)
Location: Plano, TX (3 Days onsite/ week)
Primary Skills: Informatica ETL (PowerCenter/IDMC), Hadoop, Production Support, Unix/Linux, SQL/PLSQL, Autosys, Batch Monitoring & Incident Management
Secondary Skills: Spark, Informatica IDMC, ServiceNow, Shell Scripting, Hive, Job Scheduling, Troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, Change/Incident Management
POSITION_SUMMARY:
Level 2 production support role as "Production Support Specialist II". The successful candidate will be responsible for daily Production Support functions for batch applications. They will work on and ensure that all incidents related to the supported applications are resolved in a timely manner. The resource will ensure functioning of the production environment with the view to maintain stability and control.
Responsibilities:
• Provide application support
• Able to debug and fix production issues by analyzing Shell / Hive scripts, Informatica workflows and SQLs.
• Monitor batch jobs and handle job failures within timelines.
• Monitor daily data load jobs, application and server logs.
• Drive automation and process improvements.
• Participate in high priority incident triage calls which may include but not limited to DB server issues, application server issues, batch job issues, client/regulatory impacting report issues and/or network issues.
• Be able to work with team members support partners located in multiple geographical locations

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
